This place suits me perfectly, offering great amenities like wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a bar area. On my first stay, the staff helped me find a better taxi. I’m coming back for a weekend!

Upon check-in, the front desk staff seemed disinterested and took an unusual amount of time to assist me, which felt quite frustrating. Additionally, I encountered issues with the hotel security. there were unnerving situations outside, as there were individuals harassing my Uber drivers. This situation made me feel unsafe, and I noticed the hotel staff did not take adequate measures to ensure guest safety.

I stayed for 2 nights as a solo traveler, primarily to explore the nearby attractions like Sandton City Shopping Centre and the Sandton Convention Center. The location was super convenient, making it easy to walk to the shopping area in about 10 minutes. While the room was cozy, I found it slightly cramped and missing some basics. The breakfast could use some variety – more than just the basic black coffee and milk – but I appreciated the overall cleanliness of the hotel and the quick check-in process.

I had a pleasant experience with attentive staff, particularly Kgomotso, who provided great hospitality during check-in. The room was modern and well-maintained but on the smaller side. However, the ongoing renovations created noise in the morning. Breakfast options were limited and could be improved for better guest satisfaction.

my stay was hardly luxurious. no one bothered to issue a welcome drink, and waiting 10 minutes for breakfast eggs is just absurd. also, i had to ask for a room clean before 1pm—how is that acceptable? once almost gave a good review but just couldn’t when treated like another ordinary guest.

The hotel is perfectly located near Mandela Square, making it easy for my family and me to explore shopping and dining options. Kgomotso at reception was outstanding, ensuring we had a suitable room away from weekend noise. Her assistance with cooler box storage was much appreciated.

The Onomo Hotel is well connected to the Gautrain, making travel to and from OR Tambo airport convenient. The room was basic but very clean and comfortable with a nice double bed and a modern bathroom featuring a fantastic shower. The location near Nelson Mandela Square offered an abundance of dining options. Additionally, enjoying the ability to open the window for fresh air was a significant benefit.
